• 1 T cooking oil
  • ½ pound sliced meat
  • 6 Oz Apsara's Lemongrass Paste (kroeung)
  • 1 28oz can sliced bamboo; drained
  • ½ cup red bell pepper; sliced
  • 2 cups Thai basil leaves

Wonderfully fragrant, lemongrass stir-fry is a time-honored traditional Khmer meal. Healthy and easy to prepare, enjoy as a main dish or alongside a soup or salad.


1. Heat oil; add meat, stir until almost done

2. Stir in lemongrass paste

3. When meat fully cooked, stir in bamboo, reduce any liquid

4. Stir in bell pepper

5. Turn off heat, stir in basil
